I'm Raeann, and I'm passionate about travel, hospitality, cultural immersion and creating unforgettable experiences. With a background in Mass Communication & Media from the Walter Cronkite School of Journalism, I use my writing, story telling and content creation skills to advocate for a happier, healthier planet through the transformative power of cultural exchange and a dose of risk-taking.

My love affair with travel, beautiful spaces, and delectable cuisine began in places like the remote regions of Haiti and an unassuming town beyond Mazar-i-Sharif, where I experienced firsthand the power of genuine hospitality. These transformative encounters ignited my passion for creating inclusive and inviting spaces. Today, I continue to immerse myself in diverse cultures, embracing adventure with an open heart and mind.

Not only am I an avid traveler, digital storyteller and guide writer, I'm an advocate of international solidarity and people's liberation. I hope to use my work to reshape the culture of travel and hospitality to be ethically sound and sustainable.

Beyond my work as a travel writer and digital content maven, I'm a mom to two amazing kids with whom I can be found foraging spring onions or 'discovering' a new plant.
